One ton servo motor article in Make Magazine

Make Magazine vol. 18 features a detailed how-to article (that we wrote) about building your own one-ton linear servo motor. The big idea is that you take a hobby servo motor and use it to control a 12V electric automotive jack.

And how does this relate to CandyFab? Turns out that this project was actually started because we used it as the lift mechanism for the "Z" stage of the original CandyFab 4000.

Also worth noting is the appearance on the cover of our Peggy 2 LED pegboard kit. Make volume 18 is on bookstore shelves now.
